The Ottawa Fire Service says a man was pulled from under an overturned tractor at 4668 Northwoods Drive on Sunday.
Ottawa fire says that they first received the call at 6:08 p.m. and crews were on location by 6:16 p.m. According to the arriving firefighters, others who were on the site were able to lift the tractor without the use of extrication tools within two minutes and the man was out from under the tractor at around 6:18 p.m.
According to Ottawa fire, Ornge paramedics were called to the scene in order to bring the trapped person to hospital quickly as their condition rapidly deteriorated to life-threatening. Ornge say the man in his 50s was transported to the Civic hospital and they arrived at 7:33 p.m.

Ottawa paramedics worked in tandem with their Renfrew counterparts in treating the wounded person.
Firefighters remained on the scene until around 8 p.m.
