The Winnipeg Jets will play their first two games of the season on the road.

After the dates for both their season opener and their home opener were announced on Wednesday, the rest of the Winnipeg Jets schedule was released on Thursday.

After opening the season in St. Louis on Thursday, October 4, the Jets will play another away game just 48 hours later. The Jets will tangle with the Dallas Stars on Saturday, October 6, before returning for their home opener against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, October 9.

The Jets’ longest homestand of the season is a six-game stand in mid-October, while their longest road trip is only four games in length. But that will happen on three different occasions: once in November and again in the months of March and April.

Winnipeg will play in a New Year’s Eve game in Edmonton against the Oilers.

Next season, the Jets’ five-day player break is immediately followed by the All-Star break in January, so the Jets will go a full eight days without a game.

The Jets are scheduled to play 10 back-to-backs next season. Winnipeg played on back-to-back days nine times last season, a league low.

The Montreal Canadiens make their only visit to Bell MTS Place on March 30 for the final home game of the season. The Jets will wrap up their schedule with a four-game road trip that concludes on April 6 in Arizona.
