Blades look to rebound on the road

SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Blades are looking to get back into the win column tonight against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Blades dropped the first two games of their first-round series at home against the Tigers.

It’s not something the Blades wanted to happen, but grinding out a road win will get the team back into the series.

On the plus side, the Blades had the fourth best road record in the league this year.

They will need to find a way to get the puck past Tiger’s netminder Cam Lanigan, who has stopped 84 of the 85 shots he has faced.

There are some roster changes for tonight’s game.

Jesse Astles will be serving the final game of his suspension after his hit on Matt Staples in the opening game.
