One person has died in a two-vehicle collision on a rural road near Lajord, Sask.
White Butte RCMP were called to the collision between a pickup truck and a car at the intersection of grid road 621 and another grid road, about five kilometres north of Lajord.

Both vehicles had significant front end damage.
RCMP say the adult male driver and lone occupant of the car was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver and lone occupant of the pickup truck was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The road was closed for hours and traffic was rerouted while RCMP were on-scene.
The investigation is ongoing, but RCMP say alcohol or drugs are not considered factors.
