MILTON, Ont. – Police say two men and their alleged victim are facing charges following an investigation into an alleged incident of attempted extortion.
Halton regional police say officers went to the Mohawk Casino in Milton, Ont., early Friday morning following a report of a kidnapping that had allegedly occurred in Brampton, Ont., the previous night.

They say the alleged victim had been forced into a car outside a Brampton Walmart and taken to the casino where he managed to escape and alert security.
Investigators say two suspects were found in the casino and had allegedly kidnapped the man in an attempt to extort money.
Two Brampton men — aged 26 and 31 — face numerous charges, including kidnapping, extortion, assault with a weapon, and assault.
Investigators say the alleged victim — a 24-year-old Brampton man — is charged with obstructing police after allegedly giving officers a false name in an effort to avoid arrest on an outstanding Toronto warrant.
