Lambton OPP say they’ve charged a man who was driving a big rig loaded with propane with impaired driving.
Officers say a driver called them around 10 a.m. on Monday to report a tractor-trailer driving erratically along the eastbound Highway 402 near Mandaumin Road.
An officer found the big rig near Nauvoo Road, saw the same behaviour and pulled over the truck along with its 63,000-kilogram propane load.
The driver provided a breath sample which police say was nearly three times over the limit.

As a result of the investigation, the OPP says a 38-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with three counts including impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.
Officers say the citizen who reported the driver may have saved the public from a catastrophe.
