N.B. man pleads guilty to sexual interference, child luring

A 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to sexual interference and luring a child.

New Brunswick RCMP say they received a report on Thursday of an incident involving the suspect and an underage girl in the Pennfield, N.B., area.

“The man was arrested and an electronic device was seized,” police said in a news release Friday.

Kyle Wayne Amero of Pennfield appeared in Saint John provincial court on Friday, where he pleaded guilty to sexual interference, luring a child and breach of recognizance.

Amero remains in custody and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 24.
