Police say part of Highway 400 near Barrie has reopened after emergency crews responded to a series of crashes involving up to 50 vehicles.

“Very fortunately there were only four people with minor injuries that were taken to hospital and it’s taken us quite a while to clean things up and talk to all the drivers.”
