A man in his 50s was injured after at least three masked men forced their way into a home on Khalil-Gibran Street in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough Wednesday night.
Police said it happened just before midnight, when the man — one of two occupants inside the apartment — answered a knock at the door.

Montreal police spokesperson, Raphaël Bergeron, said a fight broke out and the man was cut after being hit over the head by one of the intruders.
The other occupant, a woman in her 40s, was not injured, but was treated for shock at the scene.
Bergeron said the suspects searched the home, but nothing appeared to have been stolen.
