A 29-year-old man has been charged with robbery after a business in the city’s east end was held up on Tuesday.
Police said that around 3:20 p.m., the suspect entered the business on Adelaide near Huron Street, demanded cash and threatened to shoot them.
Police said the man tried to break open the cash register and took off on foot when an employee confronted him.
Officers were able to find the man a short distance away, but said no weapon was recovered.

The victims of the robbery were not injured.
