The Saskatoon Blades snapped a four-game losing streak with a 6-5 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

The Blades are now two points behind the Prince Albert Raiders for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Dawson Davidson led the way for the Blades, scoring once and adding three assists.

Braylon Shmyr, Michael Farren, Eric Florchuk, Max Gerlach and Josh Paterson also scored for Saskatoon (32-31-3).

Kirby Dach had three assists and Nolan Maier made 26 saves for the win.

Kobe Mohr, Carter Souch, Brett Kemp, Conner McDonald and Colton Kehler scored in a losing effort for Edmonton (19-39-8).

The Blades are back in action at home on Friday evening when they take on the Calgary Hitmen.
