RCMP in Bonnyville, Alta. are asking for the public’s help identifying a man and a woman who were seen arguing on Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
Police were called to 43 Street near 49 Avenue after two independent witnesses reported seeing a young woman and a young man fighting.
Witnesses told RCMP the woman was walking and the man was following behind in a grey or silver car with an Alberta licence plate. They didn’t have the licence plate number.
“The male then exited the car and forcibly put the female into the car and may have slammed the car door on the female’s legs more than once,” a news release said.
The car was then driven away.
Police believe both people were in their 20s. The woman is described as having long, blonde hair and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The man was wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans.
Bonnyville RCMP are asking for help identifying one or both of the people involved.
