Vancouver Police pull over a big speeder in a small car

It’s happened yet again in Metro Vancouver, but this time, with a twist.

You know the recent stories: the cops impounding a luxury sports car like a Lamborghini or Porsche and imposing a big fine after catching it way over the speed limit and often it’s a novice driver with an “N” in the window.

On Monday night, the Vancouver Police Department’s traffic unit pulled over a car doing 135 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on McGill Street near the Second Narrows bridge.

That’s 85 klicks over the speed limit and a very big fine.
