Calgary police have renewed hope the mysterious case of an infant found dead in Calgary will be solved.
Investigators confirm they’ve received more than 30 tips since Wednesday, when they released a computer image generated using DNA phenotyping.
The case had come to an investigative standstill in the weeks following the discovery of the baby in a dumpster Christmas Eve.
Police told Global News Thursday they want to reiterate they are looking for a woman who was in late-term pregnancy around Christmas last year, who no longer has a baby and shares a likeness of the image.

Investigators emphasized the pictures that have been created are not definitive composite sketches, but scientific approximations based on probabilities and predictions.
Investigators believe the woman’s hair is dark, likely brown or black. They believe she has hazel eyes that may also appear green.
The infant was found nearly eight weeks ago.
