Kelowna RCMP are releasing a photo from a surveillance camera captured during an armed robbery at a Super 8 Motel Friday evening.

Police responded to the call just after 9 p.m. in the 2500 block of Highway 97.

RCMP say a masked man walked into the lobby carrying a reusable shopping bag and brandishing a knife.

The man threatened the front desk clerk and demanded money.
