Luke Skywalker himself — a.k.a. Mark Hamill — gave some lucky Star Wars fans the ride of their lives on Tuesday when he showed up at Disneyland unannounced.

Hamill, 66, shocked fans on the Star Tours ride at the Anaheim, Calif., theme park when he emerged from a side door.

The Star Tours employee, reading from his script while starting up the ride, added “Actually, you know what? The captain did mention something about a special passenger. Oh, and the Force is strong with this one. So let me go out and…”

With that, Hamill joyfully came through the door, exclaiming “Hello, everyone!”

The small audience of riders gasped and let out bursts of joy. Phones were whipped out as people tried to capture the moment.

“Wait a minute, there’s no Star Wars fans here, right?” joked Hamill.

“Yes, there are!” a woman replied.

This isn’t the first time Hamill has gone all out for his fans. In late 2015, Hamill donned a Stormtrooper uniform and walked down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, handing out tickets to the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Many of the recipients had no idea it was him.
