Halifax Regional Police have released images of a person suspected of being responsible for a fire in the Joseph Howe Drive Superstore last Friday.
Police say that at approximately 6 p.m. on Oct. 27, staff were made aware of a small fire in a grocery aisle inside the store.

Halifax Fire and Emergency quickly extinguished the blaze as the building was being evacuated.

Officials later determined that the fire was arson.
Police have now identified an individual who may be responsible for the fire.

The man is described as being in his late 40s or 50s with grey hair and a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing glasses with thick rims, a puffy blue waist-length coat, jeans and a blue ball cap.
