The Provincial Offence Notices were handed out Saturday night for liquor offences and public urination charges.

Police say more than 2,000 students attended the party on Dalewood Avenue South and all of their available resources were sent to the area to maintain public order and ensure public safety.

Police say they did not receive any reports of mischief or serious injuries.

Chukky Ibe, President of the McMaster Students Union, says they take the matter seriously and share the neighbourhood’s concerns.

Ward 2 Councillor Aidan Johnson will move a motion at Tuesday’s meeting of the Planning Committee for increased bylaw enforcement in the neighbourhoods around McMaster.
