An arson charge has been laid in connection with a midtown Kingston fire on Monday.
The Concession Street house fire was called in at about 10:30 a.m.
Firefighters made short work of the blaze, which appeared to have started in a second-floor unit. There were no injuries.
Later that afternoon, police and the Ontario Fire Marshal had joined the investigation.
At the time they said there was nothing criminal about the fire. However, three days later, they’ve charged Michelle Hawryschuk, 39, of Kingston with arson. She was picked up Thursday afternoon on Patrick Street in Kingston.
