Global Okanagan celebrates 60 years with on location broadcasts

60 years ago this week CHBC Television first hit the air waves in the Okanagan Valley.

We want to celebrate with you, our viewers. Join us for live on location cut in’s into our 5 p.m. newscast Tuesday from Penticton’s Rotary Park and Wednesday from Vernon’s Polson Park.

On Thursday, the whole 60th Anniversary special edition newscast will be live on location from the Stuart Park stage in downtown Kelowna.

The public is invited to help celebrate with cake, balloons and free Global swag at all three locations.
