Traffic restrictions coming to Attridge Drive

Traffic restrictions will be in place on Attridge Drive at the intersection of Central Avenue as crews continue to prepare roads in the area for the North Commuter Parkway.

The latest restrictions, starting on Sept. 18 and lasting for three weeks, will take place in non-peak traffic hours to reduce the impact on drivers.

Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The restrictions will only be in place on weekdays.

During this time, crews will be working on the medians and roads in both directions on Attridge.

City officials said even though the restrictions are in off-peak traffic hours, drivers should be prepared for delays.
