Rosscarrock residents recovering after Sunday carbon monoxide scare

A Calgary family is recovering after suffering through a carbon monoxide scare at their Rosscarrock home on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called to the house along Rossmount Road S.W. at around 11 p.m. after reports at least one resident wasn’t feeling well.

When they arrived, firefighters found CO in the home at over 400 parts per million, a level considered extremely dangerous.

Paramedics assessed the family of four, but no one was transported to hospital for treatment.

The cause of the high CO levels is under investigation.
