Two men stabbed after altercation at house party in Riversdale area

Saskatoon police said on Sunday that a stabbing occurred after an altercation at a house party in the Riversdale neighbourhood.

Officers and paramedics were called to the 400-block of Avenue E South shortly after midnight where two men had been outside a home.

One man sustained a minor stab wound to a lower extremity. The other was stabbed in the midsection and taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police arrested one man at the scene.

The identification and targeted enforcement units are investigating the stabbing.
