Surrey Mounties are putting out an appeal for anyone who might have seen or heard anything after an assault at a rural park.
Police say the incident took place at Buckley Park on Wednesday just after 6 p.m. in the 19600 block of 48th Avenue.
A woman, who had been walking her dogs at the time, says a male had attempted to assault her, but she managed to fight him off and flee.
Police say that while she was not injured, she was understandably upset.
The suspect is being described as a Caucasian male in his late teens, 5’8″ tall with a skinny build and chin-length shaggy dark brown hair.
He was wearing a hoodie and black track pants with a white stripe down the leg.
Anyone with information should contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
