Nova Scotia RCMP looking to identify person of interest who was given too much change

Nova Scotia RCMP are interested in speaking to a man who was given too much change by a nervous cashier at a restaurant on Highway 330.

According to police, a man entered a restaurant in Barrington Passage at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and purchased an item with a large bill.

The man soon became agitated, causing the clerk to become confused and resulting in him being given a much larger amount of change back.

The man then departed the business.

The man is described as a white male, with blonde hair and scruff on his face.

At the time of incident he was wearing a black ball cap, black shorts, dark sneakers and camouflage T-shirt.

The Mounties are asking anyone with information about this man to contact Barrington RCMP at (902) 637-2325 or to call Crime Stoppers.
