Strathroy man faces racing charges after going more than 80km/h over the speed limit

A Strathroy man has lost his licence after going 82 km/h over the speed limit.

On Friday, a Strathroy-Caradoc Police officer saw a vehicle travelling at a very high speed on Carroll St. E.

The officer clocked the driver at 132 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

The 21-year-old male driver has been charged with racing.

He lost his licence and his car for seven days.

He will be appearing in a London Court in October.
