RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a man at a Wetaskiwin apartment building – the community’s second suspicious death in less than a week.
At around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, police and EMS were called to an apartment building where an unresponsive man was found with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police did not release further details, only saying the RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Major Crimes Unit are investigating the death.
The man’s death comes just days after a teen was found seriously injured in Wetaskiwin. Police said a teenage boy died after he was found seriously injured at a plaza in the area of 52 Street and 48 Avenue on Thursday night.
