The cause of a house fire in Saskatoon is under investigation.
At around 1:45 a.m. CT on Tuesday, the Saskatoon Fire Department received multiple calls about the blaze in the 300-block of Avenue K South.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy smoke and large flames coming through the roof at the rear of the two-storey home.
Officials said crews conducted an aggressive attack, but were unable to enter the building until 2:34 a.m. due to the extent of the fire and significant damage to the house.

The blaze was brought under control at 3:42 a.m.
Both tenants of the building were not inside home during the fire.
A damage estimate is not available at this time.
