Surrey RCMP is investigating after a homeless man was found dead in a South Surrey park.
Police said they were called to Bakerview Park near 154th St. and 18th Ave. just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, to reports of a man’s body.

Investigators said the deceased man is in his mid-30s, and may have been camping in the park.
The man’s cause of death is not readily apparent, and the BC Coroners Service is assisting with the investigation, Mounties said.
The man has not been identified pending notification of his next of kin.
Anyone with more information is asked to call Surrey RCMP or contact Crime Stoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.
