Construction of a small-scale solar farm is nearly complete along a major highway near Peterborough.
The 0.6-megawatt farm is located on the north side of Highway 7 at Cameron Line, east of the city.

The project, which is contracted through Toronto-based renewable energy company GP Joule, is on private land.
The company has solar projects across North America and Europe.
It also has wind and biomass projects in Germany.
The Indian River Solar Farm project should be completed in the next few weeks.
