Britney Spears has something to say to those who have spent years calling the pop star out for allegedly lip-syncing her way through live performances.

“How much of your show is live?” the interviewer asked Spears.

“I’m glad you’re addressing this question because it’s really funny. A lot of people think I don’t sing live,” Spears said in an interview with an Israeli television station prior to her July 3 concert in Tel Aviv.

“Because I’m dancing so much I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback,” Spears said. “It really pisses me off because I am busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it, you know?”

Spears admitted in her recent interview that she does use a playback track to keep things running smoothly during her dance routines on stage.

In a profile of Spears’ Piece of Me show on Medium’s Matter, Adam Lebera member of the Toxic singer’s management team said, “To put on the show that she puts on, it’s virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does. She’s singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There’s no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time.”
