Ontario Provincial Police have impounded 12 luxury vehicles and charged their drivers with stunt driving in Barrie.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said multiple calls came in just after 1 p.m. about vehicles driving erratically and dangerously northbound on Highway 400 in Barrie Sunday.
Officers were able to track down the vehicles and establish a rolling block to funnel them into an ONroute service centre.
The vehicles, which include Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Mercedes, will remain impounded for seven days.
The drivers face numerous charges, including stunt driving. Their licenses have been suspended for seven days.
Schmidt said the investigation continues and that more charges may be laid down the road.
