Market Mall announces new stores, expanded underground parking

Market Mall will soon be welcoming a few new retailers to its northwest Calgary location.

Officials with the mall announced on Wednesday that both Zara and Sporting Life will open in the fall, with plans for Saks Off 5^th to open in 2018.

In addition, the existing Sport Chek location will expand to become a two-level and 60,000 square foot flagship store. The expansion is expected to be completed in August 2018.

The new Zara will be two levels and 30,000 square feet, making it the largest location in Calgary.

The new Sporting Life, meanwhile, will be 40,000 square feet.

Saks Off 5^th will be 26,600 square feet, and will be located where HomeSense currently sits.

HomeSense will relocate to the space formerly occupied by Target on the mall’s upper level, towards the end of summer.

In addition to the new retailers, Market Mall also announced Wednesday that it would be adding 83 additional underground parking spaces.
