According to investigators, a lone male entered the pharmacy at 1299 Oxford St. E., also known as Oxbury Mall, around noon on Saturday, demanded medication from the pharmacist, and fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount.
The suspect could not be initially located by officers at the scene, but was later identified and taken into custody, police said.
He faces a charge of robbery, having face disguised during the commission of an offence, breach of probation, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance, police said.
