A Little Black Bear First Nation man is facing murder charges after a woman was found dead on the reserve.
File Hills Police Service were called to the Little Black Bear First Nation for the report of an unresponsive woman outside of a residence. EMS were also called and pronounced 33-year-old Lauren Queqezance dead.
Police arrested 37-year-old Sherman Luke Bellegarde also from Black Bear First Nation and charged him with second degree murder.
The two were known to each other.
Bellegarde made his first court appearance in Regina on Friday morning and will return to court on December 22.
