A 39-year-old man is facing several domestic-violence-related charges following an overnight standoff in northeast Edmonton.
Police were called to the area of 127 Avenue and 67 Street at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers asked people to avoid 68 Street between 127 Avenue and 129 Avenue, and 68 Street to 70 Street between 127 Avenue and 128 Avenue.
Police said firearms were not involved in the incident.
Shortly after 10 a.m., police said a man was taken into custody.
All area roads have since reopened.
