Halifax Regional Police are reaching out to the public for help in solving a missing persons case that has spanned two decades.
Police say Jaime Wyatt, 62, left his home in Newfoundland in September 1996 to find employment in Nova Scotia. He was staying at the Twin Elms Motel on Inglis Street in Halifax and had paid up until Nov. 17, when he was scheduled to head back to Newfoundland.

Wyatt headed for a night out with friends on the evening of Nov. 16, 1996 — he was never seen or heard from again.
Investigators say Wyatt’s disappearance is suspicious and believe foul play may be involved.
At the time of his disappearance, Wyatt was 62 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighed about 160-170 pounds. He is described as having a medium build and blue eyes. He was bald with a fringe of grey hair around his head.
