A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed multiple times near a Toronto high school.
Officers responded to the Dante Alighieri Academy on Playfair Avenue, southwest of Dufferin Street and Lawrence Avenue West, at around 1:35 p.m. after the injured victim went back in to the school.
Police said the boy was stabbed in a neighbourhood just south of the school and was taken to hospital in serious condition with a police escort.
Paramedics said the boy was conscious and breathing after the stabbing.
Police are still investigating and officers haven’t released suspect information.
