50 golf carts vandalized at course in Cochrane

The golf season might be over in Alberta but it had a rude awakening at The Links of Gleneagles Golf Course in Cochrane this weekend.

Approximately 50 golf carts had their tires and upholstery slashed sometime between 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.

RCMP said the culprit(s) gained access to the maintenance yard at the course and once on the grounds, vandalized dozens of golf carts.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

RCMP continue to investigate and have not confirmed if they have any video evidence.
