A Facebook and Twitter account that an Alberta legislature member says weren’t hers have been taken down.
Barb Miller, who represents Red Deer South, issued a statement Friday on her real Facebook account that a fake account appeared to have started on Sept. 13.
Miller, who is NDP, says the page and a Twitter account associated with it, were not hers.
One post expressed disappointment with Donald Trump winning last week’s U.S. presidential election, stating he would approve the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, and that more pipelines aren’t needed.

Some people replied to the posts with angry, profanity-filled comments aimed at Miller and the NDP government.
Alberta Premier Rachel Notley’s office tweeted a warning Friday about the fake accounts, adding they had filed a report to Facebook.
