Victoria Police are investigating a suspicious device found on Gorge Road and Dunedin Street just north of downtown Victoria on Friday afternoon.
Authorities say they were called just after 12:30 p.m. and discovered a “cooking pot.”
They closed the street and “brought in resources out of an abundance of caution.”

Police say the device is “not dangerous” and traffic on Gorge Road is back to normal.
