Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and -run in Côte-des-Neiges early Sunday morning that sent two women, both in their 20s,  to hospital.

The collision happened at the corner of Plamondon and Victoria avenues at around 1:30 a.m. in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges borough.

Witnesses at the scene told police the women had just exited the Plamondon metro station and were attempting to cross Plamondon Avenue from west to east when they were struck by a vehicle heading south on Victoria.

Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without coming to the aid of the victims.

Both women were rushed to hospital; one victim, 21, is in stable condition while the other, 25, is in critical but stable condition.

Collision experts at the scene were able to identify the type of vehicle involved in the collision.

Police are looking for a silver Porsche Macan, built in 2015 or 2016, with a missing passenger-side mirror.

Anyone with information is being asked to call 911 or their local police station.
