The jury heard that evidence Wednesday in the Vernon trial of Howard Everett Krewson.

He’s accused of killing his girlfriend, Linda Marie Stewart, in June 2014 at her hobby farm near Lumby.

The 51-year-old school teacher was found slumped over in the front seat of her car with a bullet wound.

Krewson was inside the home, laying on a couch with a single, allegedly self-inflicted gun shot wound to his face.

Then ambulance paramedic, Mark Wilkerson, told the jury he asked Krewson “Who is the lady in the car?”

He replied “My wife. I shot her.”

Wilkerson’s paramedic partner, Colleen Parkes, testifed Krewson became very apologetic after finding out Stewart was dead, saying several times he was sorry.

Police found a handgun and pool of blood outside the carport at the hobby farm.
