RCMP said officers were at the scene of a deadly helicopter crash in northern Alberta Monday evening.
They said it happened about 25 kilometres southwest of Fox Creek at around 4:20 p.m. MT.
According to police, a 44-year-old woman was killed in the crash while another female and a male were injured.

The helicopter was under contract with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry and was doing mountain pine beetle aerial survey work, according to the province.
“I was saddened to hear of the helicopter crash near Fox Creek last night,” Minister Oneil Carlier said in a statement Tuesday.
“My condolences to the family of the woman who perished.”
Mounties said they could not specify the severity of the injuries or how old the other victims are.
RCMP said the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is in charge of the investigation.
