A 13-year veteran with the Ontario Provincial Police is facing a number of charges, including impaired driving.
The OPP say Const. Matthew Chorny is also charged with failing to produce a breath sample and two counts related to drug possession.

Police say they were called to a single vehicle accident that occurred in Essa Township on Aug. 7 and Chorny was charged following an investigation.
Chorny is stationed at OPP headquarters in Orillia.
He is due to appear in court on Sept. 8 to face the allegations.
