Jam-packed and with a refreshing lineup, this year’s Osheaga is the place where old school meets new school.
On Friday, The “Ho Hey” hitmakers, The Lumineers, British singer-songwriter Passenger and even a 90s throwback – Cypress Hill – were amongst those who took to the stage.

The 11th edition of the music festival has fans flocking from near and far to catch some of their favourite bands.
“Gotta start them young, right?” Rob from Toronto said, while holding his baby girl Poppy in his arms.
“We drove like 10 hours to come here,” Isabelle Arsenault, who hails from New Brunswick, said.
Friday’s highlight to many is The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The L.A. rock legends still seem to appeal to a wide audience – take Janni-Eve Chevarie-Faucher, who got tickets to Osheaga for her ninth birthday.
Saturday’s festival star is indie pop queen Lana del Rey.
“We’re just really obsessed with her,” a pair of young festival goers, including one who was in a cast, said. “It doesn’t stop me,” she said while laughing.
But perhaps Osheaga’s biggest snatch is Radiohead.

Since day one, the alt-rock powerhouse has been at the top of the organizers’ wishlist.
After 10 years of waiting, the much-anticipated act will close out the festival.
In total, 100 acts will take to the stage this weekend including local talent such as Montreal rock darlings The Damn Truth, folk quartet The Barr Brothers and cult producer extraordinaire Claire Boucher, a.k.a Grimes, amongst others.
