As Osheaga celebrates its tenth year, organizer Nick Farkas looks back on a decade of great music that started out as a simple dream between friends:
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
The duo was joined by Canadian singer-songwriters Tegan and Sara.
“It was just a perfect moment,” said Farkas.
“Under the rain, headlining year one,” said Farkas.
“Rivers Cuomo running in the crowd and singing from the stands at the back of the site,” he said.
“Seeing people meet up on the top of the hill and taking tons of pictures with the Osheaga sign,” he said.
“[The] very first artist to play at the festival,” said Farkas.
“When he got to Artist World, the artist’s dressing room/lounge area, he said: “Hey I played here once! It was for Expo 67!”
