Catholic school teacher charged in alleged sexual assault of former student in Windsor

A 42-year-old Catholic school teacher in Windsor, Ont., faces sexual assault and child luring charges in connection with an alleged incident involving a former student.

Windsor police received information that a young person was possibly lured by an adult and launched an investigation.

Police said they then determined a teacher from the Christ the King Catholic Elementary School allegedly had a sexual relationship with a former student.

Christina Albini was arrested at her Windsor home without incident on Monday. She has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under 16, invitation to sexual touching and child luring.
