The Winnipeg Jets selected four more players on day two of the NHL Draft before trading away their final pick.

The Jets grabbed Luke Green (79th), Jacob Cederholm (97th), Jordan Stallard (127th) and Mikhail Berdin (157th). The Jets traded their seventh round selection to the Montreal Canadiens for their seventh round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Green is a defenseman and played the last two seasons with the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs. He tallied 10 goals and 25 assists in 61 games last season.

Cederholm comes from Sweden and also patrols the blueline. He played in the Swedish Hockey League last season with HV71 Jonkoping and was the captain for Sweden at the Under-18 World Championship in Grand Forks, N.D.

Stallard hails from Brandon and the centre is a former member of the MJHL’s Winkler Flyers. He played the last two seasons with the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen and registered 21 goals and 28 assists in 68 games last season.

Berdin adds to the Jets depth at the goalie position. He also played at the Under-18 World Championship, suiting up for Russia.
