Former Saskatoon mayor Henry Dayday making another run for office

He was the mayor of Saskatoon from 1988 to 2000 and now, Henry Dayday wants to be top dog at city hall, again.

Dayday made the announcement Thursday that he plans to run for mayor in the upcoming civic election scheduled for Oct. 26.

He did the same thing in the 2012 election, announcing his candidacy months ahead of time then dropping out of the race before the vote.

Aside from Dayday, Ward 6 city Coun. Charlie Clark is running for mayor, as is Don Atchison.

Dayday has made two unsuccessful runs at federal politics – once with the Liberals and once with the Conservatives.
